Sprue Picker - HC-Serie
Concept
- The HC-Series is a swing-arm robot(Sprue picker) specifically designed for runner/sprue removal. With its specialized structural design, proprietary pneumatic circuit and cushioning system, and the signature DNA of Tenso products, the HC stands out as a durable yet agile performer. Now in its fourth generation, it integrates advanced technologies and pairs seamlessly with Tenso’s self-developed pneumatic sensing gripper — the very soul of the HC lineup.
- Powered by the latest generation of Tenso technology, the HC Series is robust, reliable, and cost-effective, making it the ideal automation solution for 50 to 250-ton injection molding machines dedicated to runner/sprue removal. Its user-friendly TS-3100 Controller, developed entirely in-house, comes with a selection of built-in standard programs and supports custom motion editing. Programming and operation are effortless — with virtually no learning curve required.

Features
- The gripper features a unique pneumatic circuit design that completely eliminates the risk of short circuits caused by wiring, while also reducing downtime and maintenance costs. It can accurately detect flow channels ranging from 1 mm to 10 mm with ease.
- The robot arm incorporates a flexible height-adjustable design, expanding the vertical operating range — because at Tenso, experience drives evolution.
- Tenso’s exceptional pneumatic cushioning system ensures smoother motion and extends component lifespan to nearly twice that of traditional hydraulic shock absorber.
- The vertical arm is equipped with a fall-prevention safety design, ensuring there’s no unexpected drop even in cases of insufficient air pressure or voltage fluctuation.
- With precision transmission craftsmanship, the guide rods are made of SUJ2 bearing steel with a surface hardness of 60 HRC. A special chrome-plated finish keeps the friction coefficient low and makes the entire vertical system permanently maintenance-free — no lubrication required.
